Marratxí is well-known for its popular fair at Sant Marçal, which is held on June 30th, and has a large influx of visitors seeking handmade pottery, which the town is renown for. The fair displays a variety of pottery crafts (casserole dishes, crockery, glassware and the traditional "Siurell" figures). The most popular spots in the area are the "Archaeological Sites", Sant Marçal Church, the Hermitage of Peace and its Pottery Museum (Museu de Fang). Marratxí is very well connected by road, highway and train. It’s close to the large Alcampo hypermarket and Mallorca Fashion Outlet leisure centre.
