El Arenal is a tourist area set towards the east of the Bay of Palma. The beach is 4600 meters long and is set between Llucmajor and Palma. The area provides a wide range of bars, restaurants, small shops, travel agencies and discotheques. Tourism and leisure are the area’s main activity, which also has a large number of hotels.
