San Juan: Location and surroundings of this property

The town of Sant Joan is set in the centre of Mallorca, surrounded by beautiful landscapes of gentle rolling hills. It’s known for being the island’s town that is most dedicated to agriculture, to the extent that Sant Joan introduced new cultivation techniques over the last couple of years, which has revolutionized the industry. With little over 2.000 inhabitants, Sant Joan offers several supermarkets, restaurants and cafes, as well as a pharmacy, bank and other useful facilities for everyday needs. The town celebrates its local festivities on August 29th, and "Dancing Sun is celebrated on June 24th, which coincides with the summer solstice. Sant Joan borders the municipalities of Petra, Villafranca de Bonany, Porreras, Montuiri, Lloret and Sineu. The centre of Palma can be reached within a 40 minute drive, as well as the nearby beaches.
