Inca: Location and surroundings of this property
Known as the heart of Mallorca, Inca is located in the centre of the island, between Palma and Pollensa. It’s one of the largest cities in Mallorca and has over 30.000 inhabitants. It’s known as the capital of leather and fur, and has the footwear factory of Antonio Fluxa, as well as the world-famous Camper factory. It has a wide culinary offer, as well as bars, supermarkets, a sports centre, and all the necessary services for the day to day necessities. Inca also has a train station which is located next to the famous Quely factory. The weekly market which is held on Thursdays and is famous for spreading through its streets with great influx of visitors. Once a year the city holds the "Dijous Bo" (Good Thursday), one of the most important annual fairs on the island. The city centre provides a number of the renown "Cellers" - traditional restaurants with local dishes. It has several hotels, both urban and rural, such as "Casa del Virrey". Palma centre can be reached within a 30 minutes’ drive, as well as the nearest beaches such as Alcudia, Pollensa, Formentor and Can Picafort. The airport is also a 30 minutes’ drive away from Inca.
