Puerto Alcudia - Alcanada: Location and surroundings of this property
Puerto de Alcudia belonging to the borough of Alcudia is a fabulous, busy resort located in the north of Mallorca that is only a 45 minute drive from the capital Palma de Mallorca and the airport. The town has a constant population of around 5,000, in the winter a sunny haven for the locals and in the summer a bustling holiday resort with a spectacular beach Playa de Alcudia within the biggest horseshoe bay in Europe. The town has a commercial port with ferry connections to Barcelona, Valencia, Menorca and Toulon in France and nautical facilities in the yacht marina AlcudiaMar are outstanding. The safe beach conditions, a wide choice of properties with holiday rental permission and the super facilities within the town, which includes a waterpark and a local Wakepark make it the perfect holiday destination for Spanish and foreign families. Places of interest include Alcanada, a small residential area on the outskirts of the Port, with its own romantic beach and coastline.
