Santa Margalida: Location and surroundings of this property

The municipal town of Santa Margalida is a lovely old town with a long history and lots of character that lies inland between the coastal towns of Can Picafort and Son Serra de la Marina in the North of Mallorca. The town overlooks the plains of Mallorca and it is here that many root vegetables are produced along with other food and veg. Santa Margalida has a wide range of amenities and attractions within easy reach, such as numerous shops and bars and a market every Tuesday and Saturday on the main square. For nature lovers the S´Albufera national park is worth a visit, as well as the nearest beaches of the area. Can Picafort is the closest coastal resort where plenty of entertainment, restaurants and shops can be found.
