Selva: Location and surroundings of this property
Selva is a municipality situated in the central part of the island, at the foot of the Tramuntana mountain range (World Heritage), which is made up of 5 urban centres; the village of Selva itself, Caimari, Moscari, Biniamar, and Binibona, all of them with a special charm and character. Due to its location, it has marvellous views of the Sierra and, from some places, you can see as far as the bay of Alcudia. It has a total of approximately 4.000 inhabitants and is an ideal place to enjoy the most authentic Mallorca. It has, among others, a few food shops, several restaurants and cafés, among which "Micceli", run by Marga Coll, stands out, as well as the restaurant Es Parc, with a gastronomic offer centred on the best meats. The village also has two pharmacies, a sports centre with swimming pool and several public schools. Every Wednesday the weekly market is held in the Plaça Major. It is very close to the city of Inca, which has a wide range of services, and about 35 minutes from the centre of Palma and the airport, as well as from most of the beaches of the island.
