Playa de Muro is home to probably the most spectacular sandy beach in Mallorca, located on the northeast coast, close to old town Muro and to the Port of Alcudia. Stretching nearly six kilometers making it the sixth largest sand beach on the island it has been divided into four sections and has perfect access for all age groups with its beautiful white sand and shallow waters. Playa de Muro offers numerous hotels, restaurants and shops and also water sports such as wind surfing and stand up paddling are popular in the area. The nature park S'Albufera covering 1,600 hectares is a great place for hiking and bike riding whilst finding out all about the flora and fauna. Alcudia, Muro and Can Picafort are the closest towns and Palma airport is just a 45 minutes car drive away. Playa de Muro is a top destination year round.
