This authentic and charming property is located in the central village of Binissalem. Distributed over three floors, it offers several living rooms, an office, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The ground floor comprises a cozy living room, a dining room, a kitchen and access to the beautiful garden. Currently the first and second floors each offer a large bedroom with a bathroom on suite and a spacious private living room, but there is the possibility of reorganizing it to suit everyone and convert it into a house with four bedrooms and private bathroom each. According to the verbal statement of the community architect, it is also possible to convert the room from an entrance area to a garage. A permit as well as the building contract for a swimming pool was applied for by the owners. Many of the original elements have been preserved and give this property a special charm: natural stone façade, arches, exposed beams, and much more. Likewise, the large garden is particularly impressive: it offers peace and tranquility and is ideal for relaxing throughout the year thanks to its different chilling areas. It is worth highlighting the high qualities used: stone and parquet flooring, underfloor heating with heat pump, fireplace.
Binissalem: Location and surroundings of this property
The municipality of Binissalem is located in the centre of the island and has over 7,500 inhabitants. The small town stands out for its stone architecture; the well-known stone of Binissalem, and for the production of high quality wine, as well as for its beautiful landscape. It has an extensive gastronomic offer, as well as several supermarkets, pharmacies, banks and all necessary amenities which are open all year around. Its flat valleys provide relatively easy routes for hiking and cycling, and the surrounding mountains offer stunning views. Every year it has two main events: the Wine Festival (Festa des Vermar), which is celebrated in September, and an annual demonstration of stonecraft artisans (artesanos picapedreros), which is usually held in May. It’s set approx 25 minutes from the airport, and 30 minutes from the centre of Palma and its beaches, making it ideal for nature lovers who don’t want to be too far away from life in the capital.
