Son Macia: Location and surroundings of this property

The small town of Son Macià is part of the municipality of Manacor and only a few kilometers from the famous natural harbor Porto Colom. Colorful boathouses, the lighthouse and boats add to the picturesque look of the place. The old town, located at the harbor, invites you to a casual stroll through its tranquil alleys, where you can also stop in one or the other excellent restaurant, such as the island-wide known "Colón". The vibrant village of Santanyí (about 18 km south) with its colorful weekly market on Wednesdays and Saturdays also offers nice restaurants, bars and boutiques. The beaches of Porto Colom are not located directly in the center of the village, but they are easy to reach from here. One of the most popular beaches on the peninsula Sa Punta is the dreamlike beach S'Arenal with its famous Blue Bar. The exclusive golf club "Vall d'Or" can be reached in about 20 minutes by car.
