Thanks to the development of the tourism, the former fishing port has become an international hotspot, which because of its great hotel and dining options is today a delightful destination, especially for families. It offers a diverse beach promenade and a fine and long stretch of sandy beach with mostly calm waters that are perfect for practicing all kinds of water sports. There is a long list of bars and restaurants where you can have a nice meal while enjoying the beauty of the bay especially from the famous Pine Walk (Paseo de los pinos) promenade.
